300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training practice

Not more of the same.
Substantially deeper.

Our Advanced Yoga Teacher Training is not an extension of the 200-hour. It is a fundamentally different level of engagement — one that moves from learning the tools to understanding the principles that underlie them, and from competent teaching to genuine transmission.

Where the 200-hour builds your foundation — your vocabulary, your sequencing intelligence, your ability to teach any style — the Advanced YTT  asks the deeper questions: Why does this practice work? How does it change people? What does a teacher carry that makes their presence itself an offering?

This training moves into the therapeutic dimensions of yoga, the philosophical traditions that gave rise to the practice, and the personal development that separates a competent teacher from an unforgettable one.

The Advanced 300-hour YTT is where you stop learning about yoga — and begin to embody it as a way of seeing the world and serving those in your care.

The areas of
advanced study.

The training unfolds through four weekend intensives, each one building on the last. Each intensive reinforces what came before, while adding new dimensions of depth, nuance, and application. Every intensive includes philosophy, asana, meditation/pranayama, practice teaching, and sequencing.

Intensive 1

Lays the foundation for the entire program with chikitsa (therapeutic) practices designed to restore harmony and adaptability in the human system. Drawing from natural developmental movement patterns, we explore the Evolutionary Namaskar and integrate soft tissue mobilization techniques to address mobility limitations and movement compensations.

Intensive 2

Introduces Ayurveda and the three doshas as a framework for personalizing practice and harmonizing the system. Biomechanically, we explore how and when to stabilize the spine and awaken the core. The intensive also dives deeper into the principles of Pranayama and adjustments to support both practice and teaching.

Intensive 3

Explores Prana and the five Vayus as subtle forces that shape movement, breath, and meditation. You’ll learn to infuse asana, pranayama, and meditation with the qualities of each Vayu, adding depth and nuance to practice. Biomechanically, we focus on squat and posterior chain activations to expand your functional movement repertoire. The intensive also includes a deep dive into the principles of meditation.

Intensive 4

Focuses on tailoring practice to students’ capacities, from therapeutic support to functional movement and advanced performance. Biomechanically, we progress to complex multiplane and locomotion-based flows, integrating all previous mobility and stability lessons. The intensive also explores the relationship between Samadhi and the Flow state, offering insight into higher cognitive awareness.
